Two members of the practice group have served as the Chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Section on Construction Law and several have served on the Section's Governing Council.
Six members of our department have been recognized by their peers as "Super Lawyers" in the field of Construction Law in the Minnesota Journal of Law & Politics, two have been singled out as top 100 "Super Lawyers", and several of our younger attorneys have been similarly recognized as "Rising Stars".
Various members of the practice group have held leadership positions in industry organizations such as the Minnesota chapters of the AGC, ABC, ASA, MUCA, MCA and CSI.

Several of Fabyanske, Westra, Hart & Thomson, P.A.'s Construction Law attorneys are nationally-known lecturers on construction law topics through programs sponsored by Federal Publications, the Cambridge Institute, Lorman Educational Services and numerous continuing legal education seminars.
Others are frequent authors in leading legal treatises published by Aspen and Matthew Bender, journals on construction law such as The Journal of the ACCL, The Construction Lawyer and West's Briefing Papers, and various trade publications such as The Punchlist, Construction Law and Business, and The Construction Company Strategist. The firm also has attorneys with engineering training and several are CDT certified by the Construction Specifications Institute.
